Bhagyashree

Shrimant Rajkumari Bhagyashree Raje Patwardhan was born on February 23rd 1969 to the royal family of Patwardhans of Miraj in Maharashtra. Her father is the Raja of Sangli, H.H. Meherban Shrimant Raja Vijaysinhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan. He has two more daughters, Madhuvanti and Purnima. 

She married Himalay Dassani, her childhood friend and has become a part time actor after marriage. She has two children.  

In 1989 Bhagyashree came into the limelight after the success of Maine Pyar Kiya.

Meenakshi

Meenakshi Seshadri, a Tamilian, was born as Shashikala, on 16th November, 1958 in Jharkhand.  In 1981, when she was 23, she won the coveted Miss India beauty pageant.

Meenakshi married an investment banker, Harish Mysore and settled down in Texas, USA. She has 2 children: a daughter Kendra and a son Josh.  Apparently she is teaching Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Odissi.  

Kimi Katkar

Kimi Katkar was born on 11th December 1965 in Mumbai, India. She now lives in Melbourne, Australia and is married to Shantanu Shorey who is a renowned photographer and ad filmmaker.

Mandakini

The actress was born as Yasmine Joseph on the 7th January 1969 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father was English while her mother was a Muslim. 

She was sixteen years old when Raj Kapoor cast her in Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985). She also tried her hand at singing and released two pop albums, No Vacancy and Shambala. She currently teaches Tibetan Yoga and has a deep interest in the Dalai Lama.

Mandakini is married to R.Thakur and they have a son.

Sonali Bendre

Sonali Bendre was born on 1st January 1975 in Mumbai, India. She did her schooling at the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bangalore and Holy Cross High School in Mumbai.

She is married to the film-maker Goldie Behl. They’ve been married since 2002 and had a son Ranvir in 2005.

Jaya Bhaduri

Jaya Bhaduri was born on 10th April 1948 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is a Bengali and her parents are Indira and Taroon Kumar Bhaduri. Her father was a journalist.

She completed school from St Joseph’s Convent School in Bhopal and later studied acting at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.
